Myles Russell (he/him)

Myles is a civil engineering technologist with 15 years experience in heavy civil construction, design, and management. He is now using modern technology to show developers that building more environmentally and socially sustainable does work.

When he isn’t working on advocacy, he can be found playing board games that take too long, doing improv, or yelling at clouds on social media.

James Blyth (he/him)

James is a Geotechnical Consultant with 8 years of experience providing design services in the Energy, Infrastructure, and Buildings sectors. A lover of all things GIS, passionate about progressive engineering, and a board game nut.

Dave Forsey (he/him)

Dave has worked as a Physical Scientist in the Oceans Management sector for the past six years and and been using GIS in an academic context for the past ten. He has joined up with Streets are for People so he can use his skills to make positive change in his own back yard.

He likes long swims next to the beach, hiking, climbing, breathing and all of the classic nerd activities.

Steve Kent (he/him)

Steven is a civil engineer turned policy analyst. He studies political science and psychology at Memorial University, and provides sessional research assistance to the NDP Caucus Office at the House of Assembly.

Syed Raza (he/him)

Syed Raza is a clinical epidemiologist working with the Department of Health and Community Services on data analytics. His ability to crunch large data sets and turn the results into interesting blog posts, or blend it with some fun loving comedy are on point. Also. he is regretfully is a fan of the Leafs.

If you ask him what he likes to do, it’ll be whatever you want to do. He’s easy going.

We also benefit from the vital contributions that other advocates, professionals in their fields, and passionate citizens provide. These individuals, sharing our passion for sustainable urban development, play crucial roles in expanding our outreach, making connections with other groups, and enhancing our advocacy efforts. Others also directly assist in research and planning, enriching our collective knowledge and helping us address complex urban challenges, all while amplifying our mission of creating more inclusive, resilient, and vibrant cities. We also look forward to others joining the team in the future.
